Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of LakeSentry services. LakeSentry is operated by Dark Lake, LLC ("Dark Lake"). By accepting an invitation or creating an account, you confirm that you can bind your organization to these terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

LakeSentry is licensed for use by organizations that have a lawful right to onboard and manage Databricks cost data.

Each organization must designate authorized users and maintain accurate account contacts. You are responsible for all activity on accounts you control.

Each LakeSentry account may be used with only one Databricks account. Multiple Databricks accounts per LakeSentry account and account hopping are prohibited.

2. Service Use

LakeSentry is provided as a SaaS platform for cost visibility, attribution, and governance across your Databricks environment.

You may not use the service to run unauthorized activity, disrupt service reliability, or access data outside your rights.

  • No reverse engineering or circumvention of access controls.
  • No abusive automation that impacts platform reliability.
  • No redistribution of tenant data without permitted rights.

3. Billing and Plan Terms

Plan limits and pricing are managed in the Billing section of your environment. Usage-driven upgrades or add-ons may be required as usage grows.

Unless otherwise stated in an order form, fees are charged according to the active plan and invoicing cycle.

  • Unpaid invoices may suspend access to paid features.
  • Changes in usage can affect seat and feature access.

4. Support, Changes, and Termination

We provide support by plan level and may update features and APIs as we improve the product.

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, nonpayment, or sustained security risk after reasonable notice.
